Happy Birthday to Danielle and Stephanie - a Wonderful Day!

Just discovered that today my blog was hijacked by someone who placed suspicious activity in my account.  Finally I have restored by blog.

Today was a BIG DAY for us as we celebrated the birthdays of our daughters - Danielle and Stephanie.  We began the day with a Facebook post and text to each of the girls wishing them a Happy Birthday.  then we traveled to Concord NC to the White Owl Antique Mall for a morning of walking through antiques. 

We really enjoyed ourselves looking at hidden treasures. Grammie had fun showing Alyse and Cammie a childhood favorite - a spring loaded rocking horse.

Following lunch we headed to another Antique Mall in Concord -  The Depot at Gibson Mill

Here Danielle found a prop she thought was funny - but I felt fit with the message I brought last Sunday at Gastonia First Wesleyan Church:  

Jesus said that we are the light of the world! 




We concluded the evening with dinner at On the Border at Concord Mill Mall.  Before the girls arrived we set the presents we had with us at a good place. 

They each seemed to appreciate the cards and what was inside - along with the birthday gifts. 

It was a wonderful day!  Tonight we have Alyse, Breeley and Cammie as our house guest for this evening, tomorrow and Wednesday for Awana on Wednesday evening.  Then, back to Charlotte on Thursday morning.  This evening, Sharron
and I  feel blessed beyond measure.  

We have two wonderful daughters - two great son in-laws and grandchildren who are the joy of our life. We love you Danielle and Stephanie and thank God we are so close to you to share these moments together. 





We have prayed each night for you and your future spouse and children.  God is answering our prayers in a wonderful way!
