Just a reminder that God's purpose will prevail for our world, our country, our
church and our own lives!
You are powerful and mighty; no one can stand against you! (2 Chronicles 20:6b).
“I know that you can do anything, and no one can stop you” (Job 42:2).
You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail (Proverbs 19:21).
No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the Lord (Proverbs
21:30).
The Lord frustrates the plans of the nations and thwarts all their schemes. But
the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken (Psalm
33:10-11).
You belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory . . .
because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the
world (1
John 4:4).
