Today, I enjoyed a special time with our granddaughter Alyse. It is hard to believe that today she turned 14 years old!
14 years ago our lives changed! We had waiting for
hours in a visiting area awaiting the birth of our first grandchild. It
was a wonderful beginning to an awesome journey of faith as Sharron and I
departed a ministry position we loved to relocate back to my home state of
North Carolina.
God opened the door of ministry in Raleigh NC where we
spent ten years. We have close friendships developed during that phase of
ministry. We loved being only 3 hours away as our family grew.
Here are some memories from 13 years ago, when we celebrated Alyse's first birthday!
Our daughter Stephanie has given birth to 2 more
beautiful girls - Breeley and Cammie. Our daughter Danielle has married
and added a step grandchild into our fold and has given birth to our only
grandson - Jordan.
Alyse has grown into a lovely young woman. She holds a special place in our hearts.
