In this 7-week series, we
will be studying some of the spiritual giants from the Bible. We will discover
their relationship with the Lord, what the Lord accomplished through their
lives, and what they are trying to teach us today. Tomorrow we begin with account of NOAH.
The LORD saw
how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination
of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. So the
LORD said, “I will wipe mankind, whom I have created,
from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the
ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them.” But Noah
found favor in the eyes of the LORD. Genesis 6:5-8
Here is the planned order of worship:
We begin with a welcome and responsive reading. then we entering into songs of worship to our great God:
"And we are sure of this, that he will listen to us whenever we ask him for anything in line with his will. And if we really know he is listening when we talk to him and make our requests, then we can be sure that he will answer us." 1 John 5:14-15 LB
We take a few moments for announcements and then time to present our finance gifts to the Lord. Then we turn our attention to the Word of God:
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses,
let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles,
and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Hebrews 12:1
