Preparing our hearts for worship tomorrow at NRN

Tomorrow we conclude the teaching series presented by the Sabbatical Preaching Team.

I express my appreciation to Pastor Jordan Unfried; Pastor Gary Narron; Pastor Jenny Compton; and Pastor John Kelley from North Raleigh Church of the Nazarene.  It is my honor to serve at a church where God has drawn such great leadership for ministry as part of our church family!

Tomorrow we welcome Dr. Mark Barnes to the pulpit of NRN.
Dr. Barnes has recently retired as the District Superintendent of the North Carolina District of the Church of the Nazarene.  Dr. Barnes has preached at NRN several times over the past seven years, and today he comes to share in the current teaching series as a member of the Sabbatical Preaching Team.

I hope you will come to support Dr. Barnes and hear his personal insight from the closing passages in this series.

Psalm 132  Maturing through Obedience
           Psalm 133  Dwelling Together in Unity
           Psalm 134   Blessing God as the Blessed Ones

I encourage you to read over the passages of Scriptures noted above;
 spend time in prayer and praise to prepare yourself for an awesome Day in the Lord!

Here are the songs planned for tomorrow:

We begin with a call to worship with a great hymn of our faith:

Now, we prepare our hearts to come to the Table of the Lord in Communion

We pause to hear about the great things happening at our church and the opportunities for service.
It is good to give to the Lord and return to Him a portion of all He has given to us.

I love this song selected for the offertory.  May the words of this song be an expression of our heart as we worship the LORD:

Note: If you have been using the Daily Bread Devotional please be advised that the March - April and May version of the Daily Bread Devotional will be available free of charge in the foyer at NRN in the morning!
