Preparing for worship on this Labor Day Weekend 2015

This week I had the  privilege to meet a new family that moved into our neighborhood near the church.  They relocated from New York to Raleigh just a few days ago.  They were invited to our church by their neighbor and came by the church to see the facility and hear about who we are. I look forward to greeting them on Sunday!  This week I also invite 2 other people to church and hope they will accept my invitation to join us.  We connect with people every day who are looking for people excited about what God is doing in their life - love their church - and are waiting for you to invite them to join you this Sunday.

Here is the order or worship we have prepared for tomorrow at North Raleigh Church of the Nazarene:

On this holiday weekend - Pastor Judy Campbell will be leading our worship with the worship team of NRN!

We pause in remembrance of the Love of God poured out on Calvary's Cross for our redemption.

Followed by expressing our thanks to God through our tithes and offerings.

Hear the Word of the LORD!

If asked to state the 6th Commandment, most people would say "Do Not Kill." This is understandable because the classic King James Bible translates it this way. But the English language has changed since 1610. Furthermore, Hebrew has two words for killing just as English does. The correct translation, is "Do Not Murder." Once you grasp this, the meaning of the commandment changes entirely.
