They were mad at God for years, but this one moment changed everything

I recently posted this on my Facebook page - and knew it needed to be on my blog:
It can be heartbreaking and soul-crushing to feel like you’ve been waiting on a promise and it still hasn’t arrived. Proverbs says that “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life”. It can be hard to understand how someone could go through something so hard and still keep their faith in the goodness of God, but experiencing trials yourself you begin to see the marks of God’s faithfulness in other people’s stories.
This story—no exaggeration—is one of the most precious I’ve ever seen. I’ve watched it several times because the hope that emanates from the screen drips with the love of the Father.
I won’t give away the beauty you’re about to see, but for years, Walt and Annie struggled with infertility. They believed that God had promised them a little girl “Chloe”, but how could that happen and why wasn’t God answering their prayers? But in a single moment, Walt and Annie realized that God had been writing a story for decades and it was undeniable how close He had been in every portion of their journey. Get your tissues ready because this is so beautifully moving!

“For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. -Psalm 100:5
