Let us welcome everyone who comes to church this Sunday. Everyone is welcomed!
Who will you call to invite to church this Sunday?
The daily grind of living in this fallen world
has a way of dulling our spiritual senses. Instead of longing for deeper
intimacy with Christ, many believers find their pleasure and fulfillment in the
things of this world. The result is, we move from day to day, and week to week,
robbed of the joy and satisfaction that are possible through a close
relationship with the Lord.
We are in need of a true encounter with God. Having
an encounter with God, is more than a distant admiration or an emotional 5
minutes sometime in your life. An Encounter with the living God, a true
encounter with our Savior! An encounter with Jesus should not just excite us;
It should change us.
"It is good for me to draw near to God." Psalm 73:28
"Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord. A man ought to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup" (1 Cor. 11:27-28).
Let all of us, then, examine our lives and, considering our own sin and the wrath of God on it, be sure that we humble ourselves in repentance before God.
I bring an offering of worship to my King
No one on earth deserves the praises that I sing
